On March 25, 1965 in Nelsonville, Ohio, Sarah Jessica Parker made her first appearance on the stage of life. Born to Barbara and Stephen Parker, Sarah Jessica became the product of a broken home by the age of one. Her mother remarried to Paul Forste. Sarah Jessica has two brothers Timothy Britten Parker (a.k.a. Toby Parker), an actor, and "Pippin" Parker, writer/director. She also has a sister Rachel Parker who is a doctor. In addition to these siblings of which Sarah Jessica is the youngest, she has two half-brothers and two half-sisters. Two of which, Andrew Forste and Megan Forste, became actors as well.

Sarah Jessica Parker became familiar with the work of an actress at the age of eight when she appeared in the television special " The Little Match Girl." She later donned the famous red dress of "Annie" (1979) in the Broadway play. Her first Broadway role was in "The Innocents" (1976). It was also in 1979 that she would get her first film credit for John Lithgow's " Rich Kids." Sarah Jessica made the transition to adult roles smoothly and this feat which escapes most child actors was attributed to her ability to project intelligence and vulnerability. Sarah Jessica has won two Golden Globe awards for her role in the TV sitcom "Sex in the City" for 2000 and 2001. This wasn't her first television series though, her first was "Square Pegs" (1982).

Sarah Jessica's name has been linked with actor Robert Downey, Jr. and John F. Kennedy, Jr. but it was in 1991 when she met her husband Matthew Broderick. The couple were married on May 19, 1997 after six years of courtship. The sexiness of Sarah Jessica and her genuine-ness means that she will be a favorite with fans and critics alike for sometime. For Sarah Jessica though, her first love is the Theatre a trait she shares with her husband.
