Haley Joel Osment was born on April 10, 1988 to Eugene and Theresa Osment. He has one sister Emily Jordon Osment. Haley is your typical boy, he has pets (two auquatic frogs, two geckos, a dog and a hamster) and is into sports (basketball, golf, baseball and football).
Haley began acting at the tender age of five when Pizza Hut selected him to promote there franchise. He then tested his abilities with a number of television show guest spots. He guest starred in Ally McBeal (lead guest), Chicago Hope, Touched by an Angel, Pretender, Walker Texas Ranger (lead guest) and has had a role in the following TV series:The Jeff Foxworthy Show '95, Murphy Brown '98 (recurring), Thunder Alley '94. In addition he has the following TV Movies to his credit: Cab to Canada '98, Last Stand at Saber River '97, The Lake '98, and Lies of the Heart: The Story of Laurie Kellogg '94. It wasn't until Haley scored a role in "Forest Gump" that he caught the attention of directors and since then has become a up and coming star whose last role netted him a 2 million dollar salary.
Nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Oscar at the age of eleven for his role in "Sixth Sense" with Bruce Willis, Haley is described as the most talented up and coming actor to hit the big screen. His latest achievement is winning the Sho West award for Best Supporting Actor of the year. His latest films have been "Pay It Forward" with Kevin Spacey, "I'll Remember April", and "Edges of the Lord". He has also signed up with Speilburg to act in "A.I.".
