Vince Vaughn was born on March 28th, 1970 in Minneapolis, Minnestoa. His Father, Vernon, a salesman, and mother, Sharon, a stockbroker and real-estate agent, along with older sisters Victoria and Valerie welcomed the arrival of the new bundle of joy. However, it became apparent early on that the little bundle became a real handful. Vince was an extremely high energy child and from kindergarten through junior high. Fidgety and unfocused Vince spent an hour every day in special classes for problem students. This didn't stop the popular and determined young man. He became class president despite his learning troubles.

Vince knew he wanted to become an actor from the time he was seven and he took on parts in children's theater. In high school, he abandoned theater for sports, but after a car accident he injured his back and returned to the stage. It renewed his lust for acting and instead of attending college he went straight to Los Angeles to pursue acting.

He is among the tallest actors in Hollywood, topping the charts at 6'5". He began his career with bit parts in teen fare like "21 Jump Street", "Doogie Howser", "MD" and various after-school specials. In 1993, he landed a tiny part in the football movie "Rudy". Unfortunately, his scenes were cut before the movie entered theaters. It was there he befriended actor Jon Favreau, who eventually cast him in "Swingers".

Then came "Jurasic Park - The Lost World", "The Locusts", "Return To Paradise", "Clay Pigeons", Gus Van Sant's remake of "Psycho", and "A Cool Dry Place".

The ever reasonably humble small town Vaughn takes his success in stride. "I just try to stay present. I'm not looking for validation as a person through my acting. For me it's make believe and a chance to fulfill a childhood dream. I feel Blessed."

Vince's latest movie is "The Cell" co-starring the beautiful Jennifer Lopez and Jake Weber. He is currently shooting "Made" with friend Jon Favreau.
